Shared Living is a DODD waiver service that allows individuals to live in a private home with a trained provider or host family. It offers personalized, family-style support that encourages independence, community involvement, and a higher quality of life.
Our Shared Living providers offer support with:
- Daily living skills, such as cooking, hygiene, and budgeting
- Health, safety, and medication support
- Transportation to appointments and community activities
- Social connections and community participation
- Building confidence, independence, and meaningful relationships
We carefully match each individual with a qualified provider and work closely with families and support teams to ensure care is personalized and aligned with each person’s goals. Our focus is simple: helping every individual feel safe, supported, and at home.
Shared Living is available to individuals enrolled in eligible Ohio DODD waivers, including the IO and Level One Waivers, with services authorized through their Individual Service Plan (ISP).
